Çankaya Municipality, which aims to ensure gender equality in the services and projects it produces, provided training to the personnel in charge of children's services.

Çankaya Municipality strengthens the content of its gender equality studies carried out in cooperation with non-governmental organizations and universities with new trainings. Trainings previously held for the principal, deputy directors and unit representatives were also held for the municipality's staff in child services.

Çankaya Municipality, which signed the "European Charter for Equality of Women and Men in Local Life" in 2013 and implemented the Equality Action Plan prepared within this scope, continues its activities sensitive to women and gender issues. Çankaya Municipality, which is one of the exemplary local governments of Turkey in terms of the number of female employees and female managers, organized "Children and Gender Equality" training for the personnel working in the field of children at the Equality Working Group, Zübeyde Hanım Social Facility. 55 personnel working in day care centers, playhouses, 23 Nisan Children's House, Little Steps Baby Library, Aşık Veysel Barrier-Free Life Center and women's shelter children's unit received training on the perception of childhood in education, basic concepts of gender and educator responsibilities.
