14 OPENINGS, 2 NEW GROUNDBREAKING

 

Çankaya Municipality was among the municipalities that make an indelible impression in 2022. Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen opened 5 new parks, a new service building, a new nursery, a new youth center, a new art workshop, a new library, and 4 new top covered markets in 2022. Mr. Taşdelen laid the foundation of a new service building and a new Çankaya House. Çankaya Municipality, which has provided an exemplary service by giving free dinner to 4 thousand university students since 2021, has also provided an exemplary service to Turkey by providing free lunch to 3 thousand primary school students.

 

Çankaya, the most densely populated district of Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, left its mark on on 2022 with the services it provided in the field of municipalism.

 

5 NEW PARKS

 

Çankaya Municipality opened 5 new parks while protecting green areas in 2022. Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen opened Onur Şener Park in Alacaatlı District in memory of Ankara musician Onur Şener, who was killed as a result of a fight in the entertainment venue where he worked in October. Cengiz Aytmatov Park, named after the world-famous Kyrgyz writer, opened by Mr. Taşdelen in Ehlibeyt District, became the agenda with the visit of MHP General Leader Devlet Bahçeli. Mr. Taşdelen opened the Ukraine Park in the Kızılırmak Neighborhood, adding 5,450 square meters of green space to the region. Mr. Taşdelen named another new park opened in Alacaatlı, December 27, Kızılca Gün, in memory of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's arrival in Ankara on December 27, 1919. Mr. Taşdelen has also completely renovated and opened Vatan Picnic Area and Park in Alacaatlı District, where citizens can spend their weekends in peace with its increasing population.

 

SERVICE BUILDING, KINDERGARTEN AND WORKSHOPS

 

Alper Taşdelen, who does not discriminate anyone within the borders of Çankaya, built a new service building in Ümitköy with Çankaya House, Non-Governmental Organizations Center and Çankaya District Governorship Population Management Unit. Attaching great importance to education, Alper Taşdelen put into service the Ilkadım Day Care Center in Dikmen, with an area of 378 square meters and a capacity of 80 children. Mr. Taşdelen opened the Korkmaz Tedik Youth Workshop in the 100.Yıl Çankaya House, showing that she did not forget the bomb attack at Ankara Central railway station and those who lost their lives as a result of the attack. Alper Taşdelen, who opened the art workshop named after the teacher of the teachers, painter Turan Erol, within the Çankaya Municipality Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center, also protected the legacy of our Ata, who said, "If a nation is deprived of art and artists, it cannot have a full life."

 

LIBRARY AND 4 NEW MARKETPLACES

 

Providing services to all corners of Çankaya, Alper Taşdelen incorporated the ownership of the Çankaya House in Cebeci into the municipality and opened the Sevgi Soysal Library in memory of Sevgi Soysal, the writer who left her mark on the world of literature and best describes the military period of March 12. It also covered the market places in Taşdelen, Yaşamkent, Keklikpınarı, Aşıkpaşa and Mürsel Uluç neighborhoods, allowing both tradesmen and citizens to sell and shop comfortably.

 

NEW GROUNDBREAKING

 

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen brought a new added value to Çayyolu and laid the foundation of Çayyolu Service Building, which will consist of 2 floors, have an area of 3 thousand 211 square meters, and will include a Welcome Desk, library, wedding and conference hall and cafeteria. In 2022, Taşdelen finally laid the foundation of Dilekler Çankaya House, which will contain a condolence house, spring house, library and classrooms, with a usage area of one thousand square meters and three floors.

 

WE WILL START 2023 WITH OPENINGS ON JANUARY 14

 

Alper Taşdelen said, “The year 2023 will be a year in which we will implement new investments, new projects and new services.” Mr. Taşdelen, who said that: “We will open the Çayyolu Service Building on January 14 and the Recycling Park, Eti Maden Park and Boztepe Park on the same day”, also announced that they will open Bademlidere Cumhuriyet Park, which will be the second Atatürk Forest Farm, Atatürk Cultural Center, which will have world standards with its orchestra pit and acoustics, and Abidin Pasha Mansion, Independence War Museum, which tells the struggle for the liberation and establishment of our country, in 2023.
