“BADEMLIDERE CUMHURİYET PARK” PREPARING FOR THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPUBLIC

The construction work continues at full speed in the 750-acre giant park that Çankaya Municipality will bring to Ankara on April 23, 2023. It will be put into service on the 100th anniversary of the Republic, and when the "Bademlidere Cumhuriyet (Republic) Park" is completed, it will be the new Atatürk Forest Farm of the Capital.

 

Work continues uninterruptedly in Bademlidere Cumhuriyet Park, which Çankaya Municipality has rolled up its sleeves to bring to Ankara. Bademlidere, which will be one of the largest green areas of the Capital with its 750-acre area when completed, will be put into service for the public on April 23.

The park, which will become the new living space of all citizens from 7 to 70, has 3 separate cafeterias, 2 large children's playgrounds, a multi-purpose field of 542 square meters, an adventure park of 900 square meters, Pony Park of 4 thousand square meters, 3 viewing terraces, a poultry house of 600 square meters. animals area, camellias, ornamental pools, bicycle and vehicle roads. Plant gardens to be built in Bademlidere Cumhuriyet Park, where citizens can have fun as a family and relax to their heart's content.

 

ECO-FRIENDLY SYSTEMS

 

The 750-acre Bademlidere Cumhuriyet Park, which will make a great contribution to the green texture of Ankara, will also draw attention with its technology and modern design. The park is built with systems that are self-contained, have low maintenance costs, observe ecological cycles, use rainwater, establish alternative energy sources, and protect existing plant and animal habitats.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen noted that the works progressed rapidly in Bademlidere Cumhuriyet Park, which he introduced as the second Atatürk Forest Farm, and stated that the park was prepared to be opened on April 23, in the 100th anniversary of the Republic. “We have opened our 750 acres of land in Bademlidere to a forest and a park for our people, not for development. We are turning 500 acres of trees into forests and 250 acres of parks and recreation areas," said Taşdelen; “We are building Bademlidere similar to Atatürk Forest Farm. We will bring one of the largest city parks in the world to our capital and Çankaya. We will keep the memory of our ancestors alive in Çankaya," he said.
