Çankaya Municipality is realizing another project that will set an example for the whole of Turkey. The “Fine Arts Preparation Workshop”, named after the painter Turan Erol, which will serve within the Çankaya Municipality Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center, opens in October.

“Turan Erol Art Workshop” will prepare students for fine arts faculties of fine arts high schools and universities free of charge.

Çankaya Municipality is realizing another project that will set an example for the whole of Turkey. Çankaya Municipality, which has realized the firsts and exemplary works in Turkey in the fields of education and social projects, is opening the "Fine Arts Preparation Workshop", which will serve within the Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center and bearing the painter Turan Erol’s name. “Turan Erol Art Workshop” will prepare students for fine arts faculties of fine arts high schools and universities free of charge. In the new workshop, students from the capital will take university aptitude exam preparation courses and courses in digital arts from expert trainers and artists. The workshop will open on October 13.

PREPARATION FOR FINE ART FACULTIES

In the new center, students who will be prepared for fine arts faculties of universities and fine arts high schools will receive basic art education, art history education, model/imaginary drawing and sculpture lessons. In the art workshop, students will be given the opportunity to get to know all disciplines, and guidance will be given to students in order to develop themselves in the field they prefer and are talented.

DIGITAL ARTS

Turan Erol Art Workshop will provide training in the field of "Digital Arts", the newly emerging art branch, as well as preparing students for high school and university. Digital art workshops will be held with academics and artists every week at the workshop.

Emphasizing that they have realized another project that prepares the youth for the future with the Turan Erol Art Workshop, Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen said, "In our new workshop that bearing the name of the teacher of the teachers, the painter Turan Erol, our students can take the exams of fine arts high schools and fine arts faculties of universities, free of charge, just like at Çankaya Academy. Together with our expert trainers and the artists we will invite, our students will spend a year full of art and take the exams," he said. Mayor Taşdelen, who said that they have signed another first in Turkey with the workshop, noted that they are proud of opening a center where talented students will reinforce their talents and create their future with their arts.
