“SAME PLACE, SAME TIME”

OUR COMMON MEMORY AND MEETING MEMORY ARE BEING EXHIBITED IN ÇANKAYA

Organized by the Çankaya City Council, the "Once Upon a Time-Common Memories of the People of Ankara" Exhibition came together with the citizens of the Capital City on January 15.

Organized by the Çankaya City Council, the "Once Upon a Time-Common Memories of the People of Ankara" Exhibition met the citizens of the Capital on January 15 at the Çankaya Municipality Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center. The exhibition will be presented to art lovers of Ankara until January 23.

The exhibition, which also presented a live photography performance featuring Gima and its surroundings on the opening day, aims to contribute to the development of urban consciousness, to ensure and increase the solidarity of its citizens. With the exhibition, the warmth of places such as Gima front, Büyük Cinema and patisseries, which once existed and have imprinted in our memories, and witnessed many meetings, reunions or separations, have been presented to the people of Çankaya once again.

COMMON MEMORY OF ANKARAPEOPLE, MEETING PLACES

This year's theme is “Meetings”, and works that will remind Çankaya residents of meeting places and enliven those moments in their minds are being exhibited. The meeting-themed stations were determined as “Gima front, Grand Cinema, Allocation Road, Old Cebeci, Old Patisseries and Cafes”.
