Çankaya Municipality health teams visit families with new babies and present a “Welcome Baby Set” as a gift. The gift set, consisting of baby clothes made with organic fabrics, is offered for a short visit due to the pandemic.

Çankaya Municipality's "Welcome Baby" practice continues at full speed. Municipal health teams visiting families with a new baby in the district inform them about child care and present them with a "Welcome Baby Set".

The "Welcome Baby" project, carried out by Çankaya Municipality within the scope of Family Health and Education Services, has reached thousands of little babies and their families since the day it started.

Çankaya Municipality nurses, who visit newborn babies in their homes throughout the district, both share the joy of the family and share general health information about baby care and baby to parents. During the visit, nurses distribute newborn set consisting of 11 pieces including natural and healthy anti-allergic products produced with 100% cotton yarn for babies,  a blanket, a top, a hoodie, a beret, a bodysuit, a shirt, a handkerchief, apron, gloves and a baby mother's shoulder cover.

The municipality leaves information brochures to mukhtars and family physicians so that citizens can reach the Welcome Baby kit. Those who demand the baby set have to reside in Çankaya. Parents can also make a request by calling 0 312 458 89 00/1199.
