The exam preparation courses opened by Çankaya Municipality in four centers named “Çankaya Academy” prepare young people for LGS (high-school entrance exam) and YKS (Higher Education Foundation Exam) exams. In the centers established to ensure equal opportunity in education, courses are given free of charge to Çankaya students.

Çankaya Municipality broke new ground and established “Çankaya Academy” for students from Çankaya. In the Academy, which was created within the scope of the formal education support program, students receive complementary trainings and prepare for LGS and YKS exams in the best way.

Within the scope of the free education that started on November 15, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students took Science and Social Sciences, Turkish and Mathematics courses in Bademlidere and 100. Yıl Çankaya Houses, and 10th, 11th and 12th grades and graduate students receive Physics, Chemistry, Biology , Mathematics, Turkish/Literature, Geography, History and Philosophy are receiving courses in Öveçler Nazım Hikmet and Sokullu Çankaya Houses.

After the placement test, the lessons applied in accordance with the weekly curriculum are given by expert branch teachers in classes suitable for their level. In the courses supported by applied test-solving techniques, students will also have the opportunity to measure themselves with practice exams.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who stated that they established Çankaya Academy to reduce inequality of opportunity in education said; “In these centers, we will especially support our children from families whose financial situation is not good. We also prepare our children for LGS and YKS exams in our centers where complementary and supportive education is given in 12 different branches for students attending secondary and high school and graduates.”
