Those who complete a wide range of courses given by the trainers of Public Education Centers, from foreign language lessons to diction lessons, from make-up technical training to playing instruments, can also have a certificate approved by the Ministry of National Education.

COURSE DIVERSITY IS ATTRACTING ATTENTION

Mayor Alper Taşdelen's "21.st Century Çankaya Houses, which he defines as “People's Houses of the Century”, are renewed every period in every sense so that people can socialize, make new friendships, improve themselves and spend quality time. In Çankaya Houses, which served 50 thousand trainees in the previous training period, personal development, vocational training and hobby trainings are carried out by expert trainers.

In addition to the trainings given in the foreign language courses; English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, in personal development; diction, mother-child education, sign language, hobby; oil painting, baglama, oud, guitar, felt, patchwork, wire breaking, charcoal, in gaining a profession; there are also yoga, pilates and sports activities among more than 100 different branches such as computer, 10 finger keyboard, stage make-up. The pastry course given in the professional kitchen of Zübeyde Hanım Çankaya House, which attracts great attention every year, will continue in the new education period.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who said that they brought more than 50 thousand people from Ankara together in Çankaya Houses in the pre-pandemic period, said, "This is the house of Çankaya residents, the house of the people. In the new education period, our citizens can use Çankaya Houses as they wish, in line with their wishes and interests. The doors of our Çankaya Houses, which can serve grandparents at the same time, are also open to our young friends. Our young people can benefit from the library and study here. We have designed these houses for all age groups," he said.

Stating that they have implemented services that the people of Çankaya and the Capital will benefit, Mr. Taşdelen said, “We are increasing the number of Çankaya Houses, where our citizens develop their skills, see them as a second address besides their homes, and entrust their children with peace of mind. This year, we opened Türkan Saylan Çankaya House, Öveçler Nazım Hikmet Çankaya House and Yıldız Çankaya House. We also laid the foundation of our Dikmen Karapınar and Kırkkonaklar Çankaya houses. Next is Çayyolu. This month, we will lay the foundation of our Çayyolu Çankaya House. It is our greatest pride to meet smiling faces at Çankaya Houses, which we define as the public houses of the 21st century.”
