ÇANKAYA MUNICIPALITY ORGANIZED INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES EVENTS

Çankaya Municipality organized a series of events for the "December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities " at the Aşık Veysel Barrier-Free Life Center, which was opened on  October 25 in order to contribute to the personal development of disabled people by socializing. The "Evil Eye Beads of the Republic" exhibition, which consists of photographs taken by disabled individuals, and the music concert attracted attention from the guests.

Çankaya Municipality, which opened the Aşık Veysel Disabled Life Center on October 25, 2021, organized a series of events on December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The Center, which serves as a multi-faceted life center for persons with disabilities to socialize, gain life skills and personal development, was also introduced at the event, which was organized as an introductory meeting.

As part of the events, the "Evil Evil Eye Beads of the Republic" photography exhibition prepared by the Foundation for the Education and Protection of Mentally Handicapped Children (ZİÇEV) met with the citizens. The exhibition, which consists of photographs taken by children and young people with special educational needs during their visit to Anıtkabir, within the body of ZİÇEV, was highly appreciated.

Former Çankaya Municipality council member, visually impaired musician Halil Köseler and his son Murat Köseler also added color to the event with a music concert. Guitar-playing musician Murat Köseler was accompanied by his father Halil Köseler on the saxophone. Persons with disabilities and their families participating in the event enjoyed the music to their heart's content.

Aşık Veysel Barrier-Free Life Center, which was put into service for persons with disabilities to participate in social life and develop their skills, hosted the persons with disabilities and their families to spend a nice day together in the first event.
