A GIFT TO THE 98TH ANNIVERSARY OF ANKARA BEING THE CAPITAL CITY - “13 EKiM (OCTOBER) BAŞKENT (CAPITAL) PARK” OPENED IN YAŞAMKENT

Mr. Taşdelen: “Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made an Anatolian town, where he led the War of Independence, the capital. Because in his dream, he had a dream of a capital identified with the Republic and revolutions, and Ankara is the most concrete name of this dream.”

Çankaya Municipality opened the "13 Ekim Başkent Park" in Yaşamkent Neighborhood on the 98th anniversary of Ankara's becoming the capital.

Çankaya Municipality brought a special meaning to the day with a new park within the scope of the celebrations of the 98th Anniversary of Ankara's Becoming the Capital. The new 7 thousand 100 square meter park, which was opened in Yaşamkent Neighborhood, was named "13 Ekim Başkent Park".

MR. TAŞDELEN: “WE ARE THE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY THAT MAKES THE MOST INVESTMENT AND PRODUCTION”

Mr. Taşdelen who said that: “The reputation is not in the buildings, the reputation is in those who built an independent country against imperialism”, continued his words as followings “Reputation is building a country from nothing with its economy, production farms, factories and railways. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made an Anatolian town, where he led the War of Independence, the capital. Because in his dream, he had a dream of a capital identified with the Republic and revolutions, and Ankara is the most concrete name of this dream. We are celebrating the 98th Anniversary of October 13 by opening the Başkent Park on October 13," he said.

Mr. Taşdelen, who stated that Çankaya is the municipality that makes the most investment and production among all district municipalities said that: “While we implement our projects, we always prioritize the interests of our people and we will continue to insist on social municipality. It is an honor for us to serve Çankaya. May our park be good for our citizens," he said.

After Taşdelen's speech, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council İYİ Party Group Deputy Chair Adnan Beker, CHP Ankara Provincial Chair Ali Hikmet Akıllı, CHP Çankaya District President Fahri Yıldırım, CHP Mamak District President Uğur Açıkalın, CHP Ankara Provincial Disciplinary Board Chair Murat Ünal opened the park together.
