You may have call and personally apply to our Women’s Consultation Center all weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00.

Our consultation services are FREE OF CHARGEand keptFULLY CONFIDENTIAL..

Who can apply?

• Women over 18 (16-17 years-old women married by judicial decision are also accepted)
• Women who are subjected to physical, sexual, psychological and economic violenceor at risk of violence (accepted with their children if they have but not boys over 12)
• Women who have drug addiction are not accepted into shelters by law as it requires treatment and can be solved in a healthcare institution.

All women who are subjected to violence or at risk of violence and their accompanying children are accepted into the Shelter without any discrimination. However,

• Women who apparently need psychological treatment are accepted into the Shelter with “a report allowing their stay in multi-dwelling residential places” issued by a psychiatrist.
• Women identified having a contagious disease or a severe disease that requires a long-term treatment receive treatment under relevant legislation.
• Women violence survivors over 60 and apparently facing mental health problems or mentally retarded are settled into a proper social service institution within the knowledge of the General Directorate of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly.
• Alcohol and drug addicts are accepted into the Shelter on condition that they start and continue treatment.
• Women who do not have self-care ability are settled into relevant institutions.
• For women with physical and mental disabilities we ask support from relevant governmental institutions and non-governmental organisations.
• We immediately inform judiciary enforcement officers about women whom it comes out to have judicial proceedings of search, arrest, forcibly capture or warrant of arrest for any criminal reasons and we take legal action against them under general rules.

The Shelter has capacity for accommodating 40 women and children.
