ÇGESK - Çankaya Municipality Sports Club For The Visually Impaired

ÇGESK is the first local government sports clubs in the area of visual impairment established in 2006 in Turkey in order to provide their participation in cultural and social life and to cause those visually impaired young people to succeed in getting healthy, fit body and soul.

ÇGESK gets into the act with 93 licensed athletes in the fields of athletics, weightlifting, football, chess, goalball, judo and swimming and our athletes have won the European and World Championships and obtained degrees in international competitions.

Çankaya Municipality Visually Impaired Sports Club obtains the title of the club which provides the most athletes to national team by providing 35 athletes for our national team, between 200 sports club that get into act in various cities in Turkey.

Çankaya Sports Club for the Visually Impaired is the first visually impaired sport club in Turkey established by a local administration in order to enable their mental and physical development.

Our club has brought 35 sporters in National Team in various branches ever since its establishment.
