Since our visually impaired students cannot benefit from existing prep schools, we carry out “Free Barrier-free Prep School Project” to support their high-school education and to prepare them for university exam. In the scope of this Project 150 voluntary teachers from universities located in Ankara, ODTÜ, Bilkent, Hacettepe, Gazi, Ankara ve Yıldırım Beyazıt, teach courses every weekday.

Our Achievements

University Exams

120 students out of 250 students enrolled have got into university and graduated ever since its establishment.

Public Personel Selection Examination

80 students who enrolled courses have taken offices as public personel and still continue to work.

Transition from Primary to Secondary Education (TEOG) Examination

14 students preparing for the TEOG exam take course from teaching volunteers on Saturdays and Sundays.

Computer Operation and Web Design Courses

Every weekday 14 students in 2 groups seven each have attended in morning and evening Computer Operation and Web Design Courses carried out in cooperation with Turkish Employment Agency (İŞ-KUR) in 4-month periods.

8 students have been employed in public and private sector with their certificate approved by National Education Minestry, İŞ-KUR and Çankaya Municipality Sport Club for the Visually Impaired.
