Çankaya Municipality, which renewed the park existing since 40 years in Çaldıran Street from the beginning to the end, presented the park with the name of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the poet of our National Anthem.
A BRAND NEW PARK FOR EVERYBODY AT EVERY AGE
“We have transformed this place into a multi-functional park that can appeal to everyone at every age" said Alper Taşdelen who stated that the floor of the park had been raised to a point where people could easily see from the road and was renewed from beginning to end. Taşdelen completed his speech by thanking the contracting company authorities and ones who contributed.
EQUIPPED WITH SPORTS FACILITIES
Mehmet Akif Ersoy Park, which is one of the most popular parks in Ankara with its central location, has a total area of 4,597 square meters. The park, which has 2 thousand 652 square meters of green space, has a mini-football field and a basketball court with a two-track running track of 170 meters long and 432 square meters of walking trails. The 124-square-meter fitness area will also serve in the park, allowing citizens to play in a healthy environment.
CHILDREN ARE ALSO CONSIDERED
Mehmet Akif Ersoy Park, whose herbal texture has been greatly upgraded and strengthened, has also thought of children and children's families. Çankaya Municipality, which prepared a place for children to have fun with a large playground of 556 square meters, has prepared a special 293 square meter dog walking area for dog owners.
