ÜMİT (HOPE) YOUTH CENTER

Ümit (Hope) Youth Center which takes its name from the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our country, "All my hope is in youth !" will respond to the many needs of young people. The Center, which will meet the needs of young people for acquiring a profession and social space, will be an area where young people will express themselves and provide professional support in which they will build their future. There will be a 24-hour library, cinema, theater and concert halls in the center, and internet service will be provided free of charge.

There will be 4 cinema halls for 100 people, a theater stage with a capacity of 250 people, a library for 1000 people that will be open 24 hours a day, and a Career Center that will guide the youth and all young people preparing for the university exam. In addition, Genç Café, where many young people will be employed by working part-time, there will also be a ceramic production workshop in which young people will be employed and workshops in the fields of sports, art, language, literature, press, technology. Workshops to be organized with young people, university communities and advisors who know the fields will cover many areas. In addition to cinema, theater, literature, music, painting, ceramics, foreign language, sports activities will be carried out in many fields such as chess, go, billiards, table tennis, darts, tracks, e-sports. These areas will also include training activities and tournaments.

In the center, which has more than fifty independent departments, there will be a project and entrepreneurship office, as well as an office that will ensure the contact of youth with national and international youth organizations, and work on the student exchange program. In the project and entrepreneurship office, besides the trainings to be given, different ideas and projects will be developed and patented, and the development and employment opportunities will be provided by transforming them into grant and support programs such as the European Union and KOSGEB.

Young people will benefit from the services at the Center for free with Young (Genç) Card. Prices in the café will also be in line with their budgets. The Young Card will also offer young people discounts in many areas such as books, stationery, market, language and education courses.

There will also be Renewable Plants Garden, Medicinal Plants Garden, Sukulent Garden, Rock Garden, Sculpture and Ceramic Garden, Rose Garden, Fragrant Plants Gardens located in Bademlidere Urban Park.
