The first step was taken in Bademlidere City Forest and Park, which will be the new Atatürk Forest Farm. The first trees for the urban forest and park, which will cover an area of 750 thousand square meters, were planted with a ceremony attended by the General Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

We will transform this area, which is approximately 750 thousand m² of land located in Bademlidere Neighborhood into a self-sufficient green area with low maintenance costs, ecological cycles, rainwater use, ecological buildings, alternative energy sources, and systems that include the protection of existing plant and animal habitats, in order to meet the green space needs of our Ankara and Çankaya. In order to ensure remaining of rain water in the soil, not evaporating rapidly and disappearing, preventing erosion and at the same time to improve the soil structure, we aim to plant with species found in natural vegetation and plants that require less water (confident).

Gardens Designed in Special Areas

There will also be a Renewable Plants Garden, Medicinal Plants Garden, Succulent Garden, Rock Garden, Sculpture and Ceramic Garden, Rose Garden, Fragrant Plants Gardens in Bademlidere City Forest and Park.
