Çankaya Municipality Hoy-Tur Folk Dance which has Turkey and world championships in folk dancing has a new center now. Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen realized the opening of Dance Center of Çankaya Municipality with the participation of Hoy-Tur dancers and many citizens.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen realized the opening of Dance Center of Çankaya Municipality with the participation of Hoy-Tur dancers and many citizens. Before the opening, Hoy-Tur performed folk dances of different regions. In his speech, Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen said, “Hoy-Tur is a community that our municipality has been proud for years. The group announced its name not only in Turkey but in the world. We are opening this beautiful facility for new achievements.”

Taşdelen stated that they have implemented the biggest investment program of Çankaya since the first day they came into office and that they have performed a very large range of services from day care centers to swimming pools and from Çankaya Houses to closed market places.

NEW CULTURAL CENTER IN ORAN

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen reminded that as Çankaya Municipality, they opened Zülfü Livaneli Cultural Center and Yılmaz Güney Stage which they rebuilt in 4,5 years and that Atatürk Cultural Center and Mülkiye Cultural Center will be opened soon. He also proudly announced that they will open Nazım Hikmet Culture and Youth Center in Oran. Mr. Taşdelen shared the information that the new culture center will be located on 4 thousand 200 square meters area and will have a 250 people conference room, workshops and classrooms. He also stated that Bülent Ecevit Ice Sports Hall will be opened this month, and Justice Park which symbolizes the walk of CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will be opened in in the beginning of November. Taşdelen also said that a more comprehensive music school will be opened for 1000 Children's Choir which is a brand like Hoy-Tur.

Mr. Taşdelen indicated that municipalism is the work of social democrats and said "The municipality which is most invested in Turkey is Çankaya Municipality" and underlining that all of these investments were made without borrowing one lira. Mr. Taşdelen stated that they brought 700 thousand square meter of green area in Çankaya and emphasized that the investments are built on the most valuable lands of Çankaya. He also said besides all these services, Çankaya Municipality bought 40 million lira worth of new lands.

“WE ARE READY FOR THE SECOND TERM“

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen said that they will continue their services in the second term and added “We've got two jobs already. Those are to explain the things we do well and to prepare new term projects. We are ready for the second term. In the new period, we will face our Çankaya residents with new projects. We will serve as a model, we will be successful.” Mr. Taşdelen: “We are not the municipality of the people in the front row but the municipality of the back row. We are the municipality of the poor. We gave a hand to this segment of the society in our service period. In the second period, we will work more for these people.”

THE NEW ADDRESS OF HOY-TUR IS SIHHİYE

Çankaya Municipality Dance Center in Sıhhiye consists of 2 study halls, changing rooms, costume room and rest areas. There are currently close to 200 participants of Hoy-Tur which has 9 Turkey championships, 5 world’s championships so far. Registrations for the groups of Stars, Teens and Adults will continue until 23 October.
