UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WILL COME TOGETHER WITH FELLOWS OF ÇANKAYA

Çankaya Municipality signed a cooperation protocol with Association for Supporting Contemporary Life. Under the scope of the protocol, students continues to Çankaya Houses will participate in activities to be organized in education, culture and arts with university students.

 

Çankaya Municipality signed a cooperation protocol with Association for Supporting Contemporary Life (ÇYDD). Mayor Alper Taşdelen and Ankara Branch Chairman of the Association, Ayfer Yüksel, signed up the protocol. According to this protocol students continue to Çankaya Houses will participate in activities to be organized in education, culture and arts with university students. The municipality will provide equipment and expenses for the activities to be held in the classrooms in Çankaya Houses from September 2018. 

 

 

“WE HAVE REACHED 350 THOUSAND PEOPLE LATELY” 

 

At the signing ceremony held at Çankaya Municipality Building, Çankaya Mayor Mr. Taşdelen stated that they are proud of working with ÇYDD.  He added, "We have reached 300-350 thousand people lately. We are developing projects that will increase this number even further, and of course we work a lot." Ayfer Yüksel, Ankara Branch Chairman of the Association, said, "We are pleased with our cooperation with Çankaya Municipality which we get support whenever we need it."

 

Ms. Yüksel stated that university students who received scholarships from their association were thrilled to come together with younger brothers and sisters from Çankaya. Ms. Yüksel added that the students who will meet at joint events without space problems will have great contributions to each other. Atatürk's immortal work "Nutuk" were given to the students at the ceremony where Çankaya Municipality Deputy Mayor Nafiz Kaya, ÇYDD Board Members as well as university students were present.
