PRIZED MUSIC COMPETITION AND ŞEBNEM FERAH CONCERT IN ÇANKAYA

Taşdelen: "We have gained this land and our independence with wars, blood and tears. We won thanks to our martyrs. Everyone should live as having this consciousness.”

Çankaya Municipality celebrated the 99th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Samsun arrival 19th May 1919 which is the light of independence. The thousands of citizens participated in Şebnem Ferah concert on 19th May Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day.

"Çankaya Interuniversities Music Competition" made a splash that young people competed with own compositions. Akis was in the first place, the second was Maça and the third was the group Dip.

Çankaya Municipality signed a big celebration in the 99th anniversary of May 19th Ataturk Youth and Sports Day. Thousands of Ankara citizens participated in the "Çankaya Interuniversity Music Competition" and Şebnem Ferah concert held at Anıtpark next to Anıtkabir; the eternal venue of Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Before Çankaya Interuniversity Music Competition awards ceremony and the concert,  Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen made a short speech and said; "As they tried to eradicate the names of Atatürk's statues, cultural centers, and squares, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk had more of this country than he used to, and May 19th and April 23rd were celebrated with greater enthusiasm every year. Because we have gained this land and our independence with blood, wars and tears. We won thanks to our martyrs. Everyone should live and feel as having this consciousness. “

TAŞDELEN: "MUSTAFA KEMAL'S MILITARIES DO NOT LAST IN THIS LANDS"

Taşdelen indicated that the celebrations that held next to Anıtkabir priviliges Çankaya and Ankara citizens. Taşdelen said “Our Courageous lay there” by showing  Anıtkabir with his hand and increased the enthusiasm of the citizens filling the Anıtpark . Taşdelen; "As they removed Atatürk's name, we gave the name of Atatürk to Ankara's most beautiful park Ahlatlıbel Park. They destroyed Atatürk Cultural Center, we are making the most beautiful cultural center of Ankara and named it Atatürk Cultural Center. They insulted İsmet İnönü, we gave the name of İsmet İnönü to one of the biggest park in Ankara that we just made. Moreover, we named the newly built Social Facility as Atatürk’s mother, Zübeyde Hanım. Everyone knows that Mustafa Kemal's troops do not last in this land, they are countless. "he said.

LONG LIVE REPUBLIC, LONG LIVE MUSTAFA KEMAL ENLIGHTMENT!

"We love the creation because of the creator, we do not otherise no one about  political thought,  identity,  belief,  clothing. Because we love people, because we like serving. For him, Çankaya is a freedom city, a democracy city. Everyone here goes hand in hand freely. That is Turkey, we missed "he said. Taşdelen finished his speech by saying: "Long live democracy, Long live republic, Long live Mustafa Kemal Ataturk enlightment!"

EXTREME AWARD OF TAŞDELEN

Interuniversity Music Competion was organized to bring young people together who are studying at university in Ankara and to celebrate the Youth Day that is the gift of the great leader Atatürk. 15 music group displayed performances and Cahit Berkay, Ahmet Güvenç, İskender Paydaş, Umut Kuzey, and Gülçin Ergül seated in the jury at the Çankaya Music Competition.

The first in the competition was the Akis group from Ankara University students, the second group consisting of students from Bilkent University, and the third was the Dip group consisting of students from Ankara University. Young people received their awards from Çankaya Municipality Mayor Alper Taşdelen. The first won 15 thousand TL, album and clip, second won 10 thousand TL and album and the third won 5 thousand TL and single album support will be given. Participation certificates were given to all the participants for the music they had performed.

CITIZENS EMONITIONALISE WITH ŞEBNEM FERAH

After Taşdelen's speech, the famous artist Şebnem Ferah took the stage. Ferah sang 20 songs and citizens accompanied by her.  The Anıtpark was full of people and they sang İzmir Marşı between the songs, continued to celebrate the May 19th at night.
