ITALIAN FILMS IN YILMAZ GÜNEY STAGE

Çankaya Municipality Yılmaz Güney Stage will host "Italian Cinema Week in the World" between 22-25 May. Special events such as conferences, concerts and interviews will be held during the week, where Italian films will be shown.
Yılmaz Güney Stage, which Çankaya Municipality reconstructed after 24 years, is going to host "Italian Cinema Week in the World" which will be organized by the Embassy of Italy between 22-25 May. Special events such as conferences, interviews and concerts will be organized as Italian films will be shown during the week.
On the opening night of the first day, the Orchestra Academic Capital will give a mini concert consisting of memorized Italian film music. Then, two Golden Globe-winning actors Donald Sutherland and Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, starring “The Leisure Seeker” will meet with the audience. On Wednesday, May 23, the movie " White as Milk Red as Blood" will be on the screen.
A conference will be held on May 24 on the "Impacts and Insights of the Italian Cinema on World Cinema" and an interview on Francesca Comenicini's latest film "Love Stories That Can not Belong to This World" competing for the Fipresci Award at the Flying Broom Film Festival on May 25. Programs are free of charge and films will be provided with subtitled in Turkish.
