The construction of Atatürk Cultural Center, which has the greatest investment among the works that Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen gained to Çankaya, continues rapidly. Atatürk Cultural Center which will be the second largest center in Turkey and the largest in Ankara is being built on 22,500 square meter area in Mustafa Kemal Neighborhood, one of the most valuable regions of Çankaya.

Mayor Alper Taşdelen expressed his pride in bringing AKM to Çankaya as an architectural structure and said, "I am honored that the cultural center will bring the name of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our country, in addition to bringing a valuable work to our capital."

ATATÜRK CULTURAL CENTER WILL BE A VALUE NOT ONLY FOR ÇANKAYA BUT FOR ANKARA AND TURKEY

Mr. Taşdelen emphasized that Çankaya is keeping the pulse of culture and art in the capital and a large part of such activities are performed in the centers of Çankaya Municipality. "Our Republic is a culture revolution at the same time. Our Çankaya pioneered this culture revolution and made the greatest contribution to the development of culture and art in our country. We continue to build new cultural centers in Çankaya with the responsibility of this historical role, and we support and host valuable cultural and artistic activities. However, at the point we came to, we felt the need for a great cultural breakthrough in Çankaya. Atatürk Cultural Center is the most important building block of this great breakthrough. The Center, which we aim to complete soon, will host the biggest cultural and artistic organizations of Ankara history. This work will be a great value not only for Çankaya but for Ankara and Turkey.”

Based on international architectural examples, the center will be acoustically world-class, designed according to all the needs of the audience and artists. Atatürk Cultural Center, which consists of two halls with 500 and 1000 people capacity, will host important exhibitions with its gallery-use foyer. The center will also provide convenience to its guests with its planned 250-vehicle car park.
