ATHLETES OF ÇANKAYA BROKE RECORS AGAIN

Çankaya Municipality Visually Impaired Sports Club (Çankaya GESK) athletes have achieved great success in the World Paralympic Athletics Grand Prix held in United Arab Emirates.

Çankaya GESK's national athlete Aslı Adalı ranked in first in B3 (low visually impaired) category at 400-800 and 1,500 meters, broke the 800 meters record  in Europe.

Çankaya Municipality Visually Impaired Sports Club national athletes, Aslı Adalı, Büşra Nur Tırıklı and Hasan Huseyin Kaçar experienced the proud of  World Paralympic Atletism Grand Prix races results, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Aslı Adalı, the athlete of the club, has achieved a record, by breaking  European record of 2.29.26 in 800 meters.

Çankaya GESK's national athletes’; Büşra Nur Tırıklı won a silver medal in discus throw, while Hasan Huseyin Kaçar obtained a silver medal in  1500 meters race.

The athletes from Turkey won 4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals totally, in the participated competition held in United Arab Emirates. Athletes from Çankaya, who brought 3 silver and 2 bronze medals to our country, became the pride of Çankaya.
