At the beginning of spring, Çankaya Municipality Disinfestation Unit speeded up their work throughout the district.

Along with the beginning of spring, the growth of eggs and larvae of living things also accelerated, which are known as "harmful", as a result of increased air temperatures.  Taking this into consideration, the Çankaya Municipality teams started the spraying works.

Çankaya Municipality Disinfestation Unit reduce the complaints of Çankaya people about urban pests to the minimum level during the summer period  so as to  continues to work uninterrupted across the county throughout the winter months.

Larger controls are being made in the jit areas (wetland, marsh and garbage) that are increasing along with the rains. In areas where mosquito larvae are detected, larvae and larvae are controlled without mature by using larvasite drug application method. The purpose of the larva detection is; to avoid the use of unnecessary chemical substances and to ensure that they are not yet fighting with minor vectors.

WATER SEWERS THROUGH THE WINTER PERIOD

In the winter months, the disinfestation workers worked intensively in the sewers where adult flies are hiding and living in. During certain hours of the day, the workers made thermal fogging in their sewers for mosquitoes, houseflies and rodents.

The Çankaya Municipality Disinfestation Unit continues to apply spraying in public institutions, mosques and cem houses that are in demand foremost in schools.
