THREE WOMEN IN ÜMİTKÖY MARKET PLACE

Three women from Çankaya, two of them are retired, offers a variety of products from bags to hats and jewels to customers in stands that Çankaya Municipality opened in Ümitköy market place.

Nevhiz Ozanoglu (58), retired, Gülderen Canverdi (63), retired, and Pınar Sönmez (33), stylist, said that it is a great convenience to have a stand for sale on a specific day and time.

Women who stated that they have developed themselves through trainings they got in Çankaya Houses said that they have tried to sell their products in parts but have had difficulty in sales.

Women who stated that they are very happy to see their work are liked said, "The things that we produce at home do not stay at home and people like them. So, it gives us energy to do new pieces.”

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen stated that they are ready to give all kinds of support to women to meet their productions with customers.
