HAYRETTİN KARACA PARK HAS OPENED

Çankaya Municipality presented the 7 thousand square meter park into service with an opening ceremony, which the municipality gave the name of Hayrettin Karaca, who devoted his life to the combating erosion.

Hayrettin Karaca Park, one of the new projects of Çankaya Municipality, has opened with the ceremony.  The opening, which was hosted by Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, was attended by the Republican People's Party’s Provincial and Çankaya District Chairpersons and the members of the Board of Directors, the muhtars, members of the Tema Foundation, citizens and environmental volunteers.

MUNICIPALISM HAS TO BE CARRIED OUT BY GREAT EFFORT

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen who started to speak by stating that Çankaya Municipality is Turkey's best working and most successful district municipality, said that: "We are not making municipalism with empty talk. Municipalism has to be carried out by working, producing and great effort. We realize this in the best possible way". Stating that they did not sacrifice the most precious land of Çankaya to unearned income and turned them into social areas for citizens, Mr. Taşdelen also added that: "Hayrettin Karaca Park has been built to such a valuable land. Hayrettin Karaca devoted his life to combating erosion and protecting the green. It is our honor to keep Hayrettin Karaca's name living in this park in Çankaya", and thanked the Tema Foundation for their participation and for their services to Turkey.

THEY PLANTED TREES TOGETHER

Chairman of the Board of TEMA Foundation Deniz Ataç, who gave information about foundation studies and Hayrettin Karaca, thanked to all the contributors for the construction of the park. Mr. Ataç gave a plaque of appreciation to Mayor Alper Taşdelen after the opening ceremony and the park has opened with the participation of environment volunteers and children. After the opening, Alper Taşdelen planted trees into the new park with his guests and children.

THE TRADITION CONTINOUS IN YAŞAMKENT

Çankaya Municipality continued its tradition in this park, which gives the names of socially prominent people that gained the love of the people by offering important contributions to humanity through their works, ideas and works. The name of Hayrettin Karaca will be kept living park which is located at the intersection of 3239th Street and 3226th Street of Yaşamkent Neighborhood.

THE NEW LIFE AREA OF THE REGION

The park which will convey the name of Hayrettin Karaca to the next generation, the Honorary President of The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion better known in abbreviated form as TEMA, will be the new living area of the region with 7 thousand square meters area. The park, which brings 5 thousand square meters of green space to the region, started to give service with jogging track, fitness area, children playground, ornamental pool and camels.
