Support of Çankaya to the Campaign of “3 Books 1 Ticket”

Çankaya Municipality supports the campaign of “3 Books 1 Ticket” which aims to make the rural children and the places that don't’ have books bring together with books. The first play of the campaign met with the audience at the “Contemporary Arts Center”.

The contribution of the Çankaya Municipality to the culture, art and education continues.

In this context, Çankaya Municipality, which supports a different campaign aiming to bring rural children together with the book, opened the gates of Contemporary Arts Center to support books and education.

The one-man show "Aşk Dersleri (Love Lectures)", performed by the famous actress Füsun Demirel for the "3 Books 1 Ticket" campaign, which came to life as the project of Umut Marangoz with the support of Spartaküs Culture and Art Association, met with the audience at the Contemporary Arts Center.

Alper Taşdelen, Çankaya Mayor, watched the performance as the host with the Vice President of Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi Mr. Tekin Bingöl and the audience.

After the performance, Alper Taşdelen said that “As Çankaya Municipality, as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's district, we will never allow the desertification of Ankara on art and culture.” Mr. Taşdelen and Mr. Bingöl expressed their appreciation and presented flowers to Füsun Demirel and those who supported the project.

1432 BOOKS IN THE FIRST PLAY 

In an ironic way of expressing sexuality and love, Füsun Demirel performed the play on the matters of masculinity and femininity in the point of view of women in today’s conditions. There was a full support to the Project from Çankaya citizens. As a result of great interest, 1432 books were obtained at the first stage. The books are donated to the Oğuz Tansel Library which is in Can Yücel Park in Çankaya Municipality.
