ZÜLFÜ LİVANELI CULTURE CENTER OPENS IN AUGUST

Zülfü Livaneli Cultural Center, which will be one of the art centers that Çankaya Municipality has brought to Ankara, will be opened in the summer of 2017. In the center, which will be opened in August, there will be two exhibition halls as well as photography, drama and painting ateliers.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the center which is located on a 100 m² area was held in October 2016, and CHP General Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and artist Zülfü Livaneli were among the participants of the groundbreaking ceremony. The center to be opened in August consists of two floors.
"REPUBLIC IS BASED ON CULTURE"
Cankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen stated that they want to increase the accessibility of the art due to their understanding of social democratic municipalism, emphasized that they are following the footsteps of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and making efforts to produce services worthy of Çankaya, by recalling Atatürk’s speech "Republic is based on culture".
Mayor Taşdelen, who expressed his happiness to bring such an art center in Ankara, said that: "The modern-looking center, which we will complete soon with the new generation construction techniques, will be a multi-functional venue with its exhibition and conference halls".
