ÇANKAYA'S COVID -19 ACTION PLAN IS READY

Çankaya Municipality prepared a comprehensive COVID-19 Action Plan for cultural and art centers, courses and training centers at the level of local governments.

After a long break, according to the 34-point plan prepared for the art gallery and courses, cultural centers and Çankaya Houses, which will begin to serve again gradually in September, will use Surface disinfectants with a "Biocidal Product License", containing active ingredients with demonstrated effectiveness against viruses and issued by the Ministry of Health, for surface cleaning and disinfection work in all centers.

Staff, visitor and audience planning will be made in all centers, with one person per 8 square meters in closed areas and 4 square meters in open spaces and galleries.

Çankaya Municipality centers, which have been away from the art lovers and trainees of the Capital since March, are preparing to serve again gradually from September. According to the 34-point plan prepared for Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center, Oran Nazım Hikmet Cultural and Art Center, Yılmaz Güney Stage, Zülfü Livaneli Cultural Center, Pir Sultan Abdal Cultural Center and Cem House and 27 Çankaya Houses, and art galleries and courses will use Surface disinfectants with a "Biocidal Product License", containing active ingredients with demonstrated effectiveness against viruses and issued by the Ministry of Health, for surface cleaning and disinfection work in all centers.

GENERAL MEASURES TO BE TAKEN WITHIN THE CENTERS

The general measures taken according to the "Action Plan" prepared in all centers, courses and Çankaya Houses, that which their capacity and number of personnel were rearranged according to the epidemic risk, were listed as follows:

- All entrances and exits at the centers will be made through a single door. Except for emergency use, other entrances and exits will not be used.

- Working dates and hours of staff and event owners; the start / end times of the events will be recorded. Thermal camera / thermometer mechanisms will be installed at the entrance points of all centers, taking into account their physical conditions and past years of activity intensity. As a result of the fever measurement, those who have a high fever (38 and above) among the employees or visitors will not be taken into the center and will be directed to the relevant health institution to be evaluated in terms of COVID-19. Employees or visitors with symptoms of cough, runny nose and respiratory distress will be directed to the isolation area designated in the center and Republic of Turkey Communication with the Ministry of Health Communication Center (184) will be provided. In this case, the employee or visitor will be kept in the designated isolation area until they leave the center. Even with personal protective equipment, they will not stay together in a closed environment. After the employee or visitor leaves the center, the isolation area will be ventilated and disinfected.

- Hand sanitizer stands will be available in the building, event halls, galleries, offices, toilets, elevators, backstage, kitchen entrances and toll booths.

DIGITAL TICKETS ARE COMING

- Special arrangements will be made for ticketed events to be held in cultural centers. All stages of the ticketing process will be arranged in a way that they can be done digitally as much as possible. It will be emphasized that digital tickets have barcodes or QR codes to prevent contact at the entrance of the event hall.

- In the centers, as long as the pandemic conditions persist, the session area in the rooms where collective lectures, courses or workshops are held was restructured so that a distance of 1 meter between two people is left.

COOLING AND HEATING SYSTEMS WILL NOT BE USED

- The cooling and heating systems in the foyers, event halls and backstages of the cultural centers will not be used. The windows of the offices and backstage will be ventilated frequently and sufficient air circulation will be provided. The ventilation of the centers with central ventilation systems will be arranged in a way to provide natural air circulation; ventilation systems will be maintained and filter changes will be made.

- In order to prevent crowding in the foyers of cultural centers before the event, a warning /barrier (strip barrier, etc.) will be placed at the entrance door in order not to exceed the specified capacity. Personnel responsible for the event will oversee the implementation of these rules.

EMPHASIS ON CLEANLINESS

- In the cleaning of cultural centers, attention should be paid to the cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (seat armrests, door handles, phones, table surfaces, etc.). For this purpose, 1/100 diluted bleach (half a small tea glass per 5 liters of water) will be used for disinfection after cleaning with water and detergent. Computer keyboards, phones and other device surfaces where chlorine compounds are not suitable will be wiped with 70% alcohol and disinfection will be provided. For surface cleaning and disinfection, surface disinfectants containing active ingredients with demonstrated efficacy against viruses and having a "Biocidal Product License" issued by the Ministry of Health will be used.

- In each cultural center, the planning of personnel, visitors and audience was made again, with one person per 8 square meters in closed areas and 4 square meters in open spaces and galleries.

- The doors used for entry and exit in the cultural centers will be separated by lanes. One-way departure and arrival signs will be placed on the floor. Entries and exits will be arranged in a way that prevents people from contacting each other.

- Event halls, galleries and foyers will be cleaned regularly every day. In order to maintain social distance, seats will be marked in the sitting and resting groups in the foyer areas.

- In order to prevent crowds in cultural centers, which allow multiple events to be organized at the same time due to their nature, the program will be planned in different times of start, break and end.

- Disposable paper towels will be placed in the toilets and hand dryers will not be operated with air.

NO ARTIST CONTACT ALLOWED, NO SELFIES

- Seating arrangements will be made in the audience seats. A seat will be left vacant in all directions and a seating arrangement in accordance with the social distance plan will be provided, provided that it does not exceed 60 percent of the hall capacity.

- No visitors or gifts will be accepted to the lobby.

- Viewers will not be allowed to take pictures with the artist due to the intensity and the possibility of creating a contamination atmosphere. This will be announced in writing or orally during the ticket sale.

- It will be ensured that viewers and visitors wear masks in the halls and galleries where cultural events are held and continue to wear them indoors.

It will be checked whether the visitors are wearing masks at the entrance of the centers; access without masks will not be allowed in any way and masks will be provided to visitors without masks when necessary. Children over the age of two will also be provided with masks.

- In order to prevent visitors from touching food at openings or receptions to be held in cultural centers, there will be no open/unpackaged food and beverage sales or offerings. Only water and soft drinks will be sold or served.
