Çankaya Municipality continues its efforts in Urban Agriculture Hobby Houses under pandemic conditions. Agricultural engineers turn the crisis into an opportunity and produce seeds to be used next year in Çankaya Municipality, where the Urban Agricultural Hobby House trainings were suspended for a while due to the epidemic.

A different study is carried out during the pandemic process in Urban Agricultural Hobby Houses, where trainings such as basic vegetable cultivation, beekeeping, composting are provided. When the trainings given to citizens for free due to the epidemic were suspended, trainers started to produce seeds for the next year.

The Hobby Houses, which Çankaya Municipality serves in Mutlukent and Ata neighborhoods for citizens who want to do agriculture in the city or who are interested in agriculture as a hobby, were not registered this season. Preparations are made for the new term in Urban Agricultural Hobby Houses, where all details such as how to prepare the environment for growing vegetables, transition from seed to seedling, care of vegetables, pruning, grafting and vegetable diseases were explained before the pandemic process. In these centers to be reopened with the passing of the epidemic days, the seeds of completely natural vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, corn and sunflower are being produced.
