STRICT PANDEMIC INSPECTIONS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT IN ÇANKAYA

Çankaya Municipal Police Teams have carried out strict inspections in the areas that citizens used intensively after the World Health Organization declared 'pandemic' on March 11. Approximately 12 thousand inspections were carried out in the epidemic disease process affecting every area across the country.

Çankaya Municipal Police Teams worked hard during the epidemic disease. In the epidemic disease process that affects our country as well as the whole world, Çankaya Municipality Municipal Police teams, which concentrated their inspections in businesses such as  grocery stores, nuts sellers, bakeries etc. made a total of 2 thousand 313 inspections in May. Çankaya Municipal Police, which carried out 11,786 audits in March, April and May, evaluated 3,668 complaints from citizens in these months. In the marketplaces where citizens shop for vegetables and fruits, the teams, which frequently monitor the market trades on mask and distance, carried out a thousand 241 market inspections throughout May.

Çankaya Municipality inspected 56 enterprises, which remained closed for a long time during the epidemic disease and continued to serve as hairdressers, which started to serve again on May 11. While giving conformity to 20 of these enterprises and warning to 23 of them, teams issued an administrative sanction report to 1 and a due diligence report to 12 of these enterprises.

NO TOLERANCE TO HEALTH THREATS

Stating that Çankaya Municipal Police teams performed routine inspections for public health by going over the routine inspections during the pandemic, Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen underlined that they are against all kinds of activities that threaten public health and as a municipality, they resolutely prevent this situation. Expressing that they are working to provide a comfortable and healthy life to the people of Çankaya, Alper Taşdelen said that: “Our municipal police teams were on their duties 24/7 in the epidemic process, which affects us all. Complaints received from our citizens were also evaluated by our teams and necessary actions and warnings were made. The health and peace of our people comes before everything. Our determination to never tolerate those who threaten public health and who are away from hygiene will always continue.”
