Çankaya Municipality continues to put its mark to projects with its courses and studies on women employment that have been example to Turkey. Çankaya’s women, who become beauticians with the trainings given by Public Education experts, receive their certificates after 120 hours of training.

The trainees, who learn the permanent make-up techniques, devices and paint types and receive hands-on training, can easily find their jobs in the sector, which has a specialist deficit, as well as opening their own beauty salons. While trainees reaching the capacity to be a professional beautician at the end of their training, they have also the opportunity to work in hospitals, hairdressing salons.

TRAINEES THANK TO ÇANKAYA MUNICIPALITY

Deniz Ersoy, who is about to complete the Permanent Makeup Technique and Micro Pigmentation course held in Cebeci Çankaya House, thanked Çankaya Municipality for the training and the opportunities provided during the course.

Noting that she has completed all the trainings on beauty for 1.5 years, Ms. Ersoy said: "I am a mother of 2 children ... I did not have a job, I was a housewife. After my children grew up, I wanted to learn a hobby and improve myself. I learned that there are vocational courses on beauty in our Çankaya House located in my neighborhood and I decided to attend these courses. I have attended and completed all courses on beauty expertise for more than a year. Finally, I also complete the permanent makeup course.  I have business opening documents now. I search for a place to open my own hall as soon as possible and get my last training".

FROM TEACHING TO BEING BEAUTY EXPERTISE

Physical education teacher Derya Neval Şensoy is one of the Çankaya trainees who completed their education and got a new profession. Having completed the basic makeup and permanent makeup courses, Ms. Şensoy stated that Çankaya Municipality had two very good training periods. Neval Şensoy, who completed her certificates, stated that she wanted to open a common hall with her trainees, said that: "I am a 4-year university graduate, but the career I wanted to do was always about beauty. So these courses were very good for me. Now my only goal is to have my own hall, to own my own business."
