APPLICATIONS FOR THE 6TH TERM HAVE STARTED FOR ÇANKAYA FOLK (HALK) CARD

The 6th term applications of “Çankaya Folk (Halk) Card”, where Çankaya Municipality provides cash support to low-income citizens, have started. Applications to Folk Card, which provides 400 TL cash support, can be made to Çankaya Belediye Başkanlığı A2 Blok Kat 5 Halk Kart Office located in Ziya Gökalp Caddesi No 11.

6th Term applications of “Çankaya Folk (Halk) Card”, one of the social projects of Çankaya Municipality that touch people, have started. In the application where the applications are made directly to Çankaya Municipality, the social examination of the applicants is done by the municipal social workers.

Çankaya Municipality, which conducts social examination through the Central Population Management System (MERNİS) and home visits, gives the card, which provides 400 TL cash support, to the woman in the household with the necessary conditions. Those who have Çankaya Folk (Halk) Card find the opportunity to shop from anywhere.

THE CARDS ARE GIVEN TO THE REAL NEEDY PEOPLE LIVING IN ÇANKAYA

1057 households have benefited from the Çankaya Municipality's Folk Card practice so far, which has implemented many examples of social democratic municipalism. Folk Card holders, whose economic conditions have changed and whose residence has ended in Çankaya, cannot benefit from this service. 742 households are currently benefiting from the practice, which is an example of the solidarity culture of the Anatolian geography.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

For those who want to own Çankaya Folk Card; it is required to reside within the borders of Çankaya District of Ankara, need financial support and the per capita income in the family should not exceed one third of the minimum wage, and there should be no real estate record belonging to the family.
