Alper Taşdelen: “Çankaya is the castle of labor and laborers. For 6 years, we did not lay off a single friend, we did not delay their salaries even one day. We set an example with the best collective agreements. We will continue our same stance ”.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who came together with the workers in the Municipality building. DISK- Genel-İş Branch No 1 Chairperson İsmail Yıldırım and union managers also attended the meeting. Mr. Taşdelen stated that the Çankaya worker does not respect the unrealistic news and comments in some media organs and that the attempts to break the inner peace in Çankaya will not reach its goal, made the following statement:

“I have always been on the side of the worker, laborer, not as the Mayor of Çankaya, but as the companion of the employee and the laborer. Çankaya is the castle of labor and laborers. For 6 years, we did not lay off a single friend; we did not delay their salaries even one day. We set an example with the best collective agreements. We will continue our same stance. Our colleagues' demands may arise in different areas. My responsibility is to provide workers with the best working conditions. We have achieved this until today, and we will continue to work on improvement in every issue from now on. My priority is the worker, the laborer. Workers and laborers are the real owners of this municipality. We stand with labor, we sign collective agreements which will be an example to Turkey. In this sense, we will continue to be the polar star of social democratic municipalism”.
