THE GREEN DIALOGUE BETWEEN CITIES DOCUMENTARY WILL BE SCREENED AT ÇSM ON FEBRUARY 10

Nature and Cities Project’s "Green Dialogue Between Cities, Ankara-Tilburg" documentary screening, which covers Netherlands’ Tilburg city and Ankara including Çankaya, as being the center of Ankara from Turkey, will be held at Contemporary Arts Center (ÇSM) on February 10 at 18.30.

The documentary screening of Nature and Cities Project, conducted in partnership with the Nature Conservation Center Foundation and the Dutch based  Eurosite Association, supported under "Civil Society Dialogue between Turkey and the EU-VI Grant Program (CSD-V)", will be held at Contemporary Arts Center (ÇSM) on February 10 at 18.30. Through the project, it is aimed to improve the environment and sustainable dialogue, knowledge transfer and  collaboration between civil society organizations in Turkey and the Netherlands and to encourage nature-based solutions and green infrastructure in cities.

The documentary, which covers the cities of Çankaya based Ankara and Tilburg, in cooperation with Çankaya Municipality and BeIN İZ TV, draws attention to the urban ecosystem services provided by nature in terms of green infrastructure and nature-based solutions and the importance of creating sustainable cities. For the documentary, many of the parks of Çankaya Municipality were shot in Zafer, İnönü and Lausanne Parks. Attention was drawn to the compatibility of the tree species used in the parks and the vegetation texture of the green area with the climate.
