Çankaya Municipality continues its works without slowing down so that students with disabilities can continue their education in schools located throughout the district.

Çankaya Municipality is working hard to ensure that students with disabilities continue their education just like their equals. It continues building ramps for people with disabilities and entrance stairs in schools across the district so that every student can benefit from education.

In addition to the improvement works carried out in schools across the district, the municipality which has rolled up its sleeves in order to facilitate the transportation of students with disabilities, has been working in Birlik National Education Foundation Primary School in Birlik District. Çankaya Municipality, which runs to the aid of a student with a cerebral palsy who comes to school in a wheelchair, makes the entrance ladder to the school entrance with a disabled ramp.

Çankaya Municipality, which immediately took action at the request of the school administration, mobilized to make the handicapped ramp and entrance staircase ready until the day the schools were opened.

Ahmet Yıldırım, who has been working as a director at Birlik Milli Eğitim Vakfı Primary School for 5 years,  thanked Çankaya Municipality staff for the self-sacrifice of the disabled ramp, and the Mayor of Çankaya, Alper Taşdelen, who has kept his attention since the beginning of related works.
