THE WOMEN’S HUMAN RIGHTS TRAINING CONTINUES IN ÇANKAYA

Çankaya Municipality continues its "Women’s Human Rights Training " initiated in 2020 in order to prevent violations of rights. Trainings that all women over the age of 18 can attend are held free of charge. The training, which aims to raise awareness of social and economic rights, is given at the Contemporary Arts Center and various Çankaya Houses.

Çankaya Municipality, which owns the “Purple Flag” due to its services ensuring equal participation of women in social life and employment, continues its “Human Rights” trainings with the aim of preventing violations of rights. It is sufficient to apply to Çankaya Houses located in the neighbourhoods and Çankaya Municipality Directorate of Women's and Family Services for free education for all women over the age of 18.

The 16 weeks of training within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed by Çankaya Municipality with the Association of Women's Human Rights New Solutions covers social and economic rights cover what it can do against violence, how to help a woman who has experienced violence, and where to apply.

In the training, detailed information is given to national and international texts on women's human rights, constitutional and civil rights, economic, sexuality and fertility, gender equality is examined. Education also includes gender-sensitive child rearing, women's movement and feminism, and women's organizational forms.
