Çankaya Municipality celebrated the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child with various activities under the name of “Children are Very Right in Çankaya”.

Çankaya Municipality celebrated the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child signed on 20 November 1989 with various activities. With the slogan “Children are Very Right in Çankaya”, Teachers accompanied the children as well in the activities that included the panel, the play-by-training and the various demonstrations.

Çankaya Municipality, which produces projects for children with the understanding of ’We are primarily the Municipality of Children’, at first organized a panel on Children's Rights and Child Abuse in the Financial Services Meeting Hall of the municipality. During the panel, Lawyers Aylin Aygün and Işılsu Uğur, members of the Ankara Bar Association's Children's Rights Center, presented their knowledge and experiences to the municipal staff.

Çankayalı children celebrated the adoption of the convention that was adopted and enacted by the United Nations 30 years ago and symbolized the rights of children on the Yılmaz Güney Stage of the municipality. The children who filled Yılmaz Güney Stage had an unforgettable day with animation, balloon show, magic show and Niloya Musical.
