ALPER TAŞDELEN’S CALL FOR SUPPORT FOR THE UNICEF CHILDREN'S RIGHTS CAMPAIGN

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen signed the 20 November World Children's Day campaign, initiated by UNICEF, and asked for support by saying "Come on Turkey, it's your turn".

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen hosted UN UNICEF Chief of Communications Department of Turkey Sema Hosta in his office.

Sema Hosta, who explained Turkey's studies to Mr. Taşdelen, also expressed that November 20 was declared as Universal Children's Day, when the Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted, and they wish to increase social awareness through call campaigns in all countries in the 30th anniversary of the convention.

Stating that they have realized numerous projects to create a child-friendly city, Mr. Taşdelen gave support from the official web page of UNICEF Turkey and made the following statement:

“Throughout my life, defending children and their rights has been my priority. Beyond being a mayor, as a father; I believe that every child in the world should have every right, regardless of religion, language, race or sect. Join me and UNICEF.
