Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen signed Sister City Protocol with Safranbolu and Amasra Mayors.

Çankaya Municipality added Safranbolu and Amasra municipalities to its sister cities, that which it signed sister city protocol by adopting the principle of developing brotherhood relations in the field of local governments.

Safranbolu Mayor Elif Köse and Amasra Mayor Recai Çakır hosted the Çankaya Municipality delegation in their cities before the signing ceremony of the sister city protocol held in Safranbolu and Amasra Municipalities.

In the protocol, in which it was emphasized that it is of great importance for the development of mutual relations between municipalities, since these cities are two of the important centers of domestic tourism, to organize joint activities, dissemination of social and cultural activities, and exchange of ideas on technical and administrative capacity were discussed.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who congratulated the mayors who won the mayoral elections in the last local elections, said that: “These two eminent tourism centers in Turkey are of great importance for Ankara. These are places where our citizens from Ankara and surrounding provinces have a pleasant time on weekends. We will sign joint projects and services with both municipalities in the future. In these two cities we will reveal the difference of the municipalities of the Republican People's Party.”
