The application requirements have been renewed for those who want to learn a foreign language by Çankaya Municipality within the scope of the Foreign Language Discount Protocol, which is one of the services for young people provided by the municipality. Within the scope of the protocol that the municipality has made with 12 foreign language schools and provides a discount, it is sufficient to apply with only the national id card.

Çankaya Municipality, which signed a Foreign Language Protocol with 12 educational institutions, provides a discount of up to 60 percent by meeting with language schools in order for Çankaya people between 18-30 years of age who are graduates or students from public universities to receive foreign language education, facilitated application requirements by updating the protocol. In order to benefit from discounted education, the application with the national id card is sufficient now, and the Municipality has extended the scope of the protocol in the meetings held. Discounts will be provided in colleges and basic high schools connected to foreign language schools.

EDUCATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who took many steps in the field of social municipalism, supports young people aged 18-30, who want to learn foreign language at academic level and benefit from discounted education in professional language schools. Stating that they aim to support the education of young people within the framework of the protocol signed with 12 foreign language schools, Alper Taşdelen said that: “We provide foreign language learning for citizens from all ages at our Çankaya Houses within our municipality free of charge. We took a step to financially facilitate the learning of foreign languages which our young people will need very much in their cultural and business lives. By updating the protocol that envisages a discount of up to 60 percent, we have enabled the discount rates to be improved, as well as providing discounts in the college and basic high school departments of these schools. Our aim is that our young people receive multi-faceted education”.

The applications for discounted foreign language education within the scope of the cooperation between Çankaya Municipality and foreign language schools, can be made directly to Çankaya Belediye Başkanlığı Sosyal Yardım İşleri Müdürlüğü A2 Blok Kat 5.
