THE 5TH TERM APPLICATIONS TO THE ÇANKAYA FOLK CARD HAVE STARTED

The 5th Term applications of the Çankaya Municipality’s Çankaya Folk Card, which provides cash support to low-income citizens, have started.

Applications to Folk Card, which provides 400 TL cash support, can be made to the Çankaya Municipality A2 Block Floor 5, Public Card Office located in Ziya Gökalp Street No 11 at until August 2nd. Since the start of the project, 670 households have been given a Folk Card.

The applications for the 5th Term of Çankaya Folk Card, one of the social projects of Çankaya Municipality that touching people, have started. In the application where the applications are made directly to Çankaya Municipality, the social examination of the applicants is carried out by the municipal social workers. Çankaya Municipality, which conducts social investigation through the Central Population Management System (MERNİS) and home visits, gives the card with 400 TL cash support to the woman in the household that meets the required conditions. Those who have a Çankaya Folk Card have the opportunity to make shopping from wherever they wish.

Çankaya Municipality, which has implemented many examples of social-democratic municipalism, has given Folk Card to 670 households with insufficient income who are in-need. The practice, which is an example of the culture of solidarity of the Anatolian geography, is also welcomed by the citizens.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

People who want to have a Çankaya Folk Card must reside within the boundaries of Ankara Çankaya District, need financial support and the per capita income in the family should not exceed one third of the minimum wage; and there must be no registration of the immovable belonging to the family.

Citizens who want to apply to the card should make their applications until August 2 to the Çankaya Municipality, Directorate of Social Welfare Affairs, Public Card Office located in Ziya Gökalp Street No 11, A2 Block Floor 5. Citizens can also get information via the phone no:  0850 455 02 65.
