Art workshops and events continue without interruption at the 7-storey Nazım Hikmet, the newest and most modern Culture and art center of the capital with its structure of 4 thousand square meters. Nazım Hikmet Culture and Art Center will host more than one thousand art lovers in July and August with calligraphy, modern miniature, glass painting workshops and Culture events.

The art lessons have started at the Nazım Hikmet Culture and Art Center, which is the fifth culture and art structure opened by Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen during his service period. The Center offers training in 8 different fields from drama to caricature, painting to modern miniature. The number of workshops and courses is increasing in July.

The cartoon, glass painting and illustration workshops are added to the drama, painting, Latin dances and calligraphy courses that started in June. The Center, which prepares a summer full of art for the citizens of the capital city with courses and other activities, will host more than one thousand art lovers in July and August.

Serving as a different art platform for the people of Ankara, the Center makes the name of master poet Nazım Hikmet literally live. The Center draws attention with its workshops and courses aimed at children this summer, and includes creative drama and child yoga workshops. Workshops that will continue throughout the summer are planned to increase both the physical and mental awareness of the children.

The 7-storey building has a multi-purpose hall and 10 different sections. There are also workshops for drama, art history and children's yoga in the Center, where studies for children are taking place. It is located on 2 basement floors with a 300-seat concert hall, upper and lower foyer. The building was designed as a child care unit, especially for the convenience of female participants.
