Çankaya Municipality, which works for the development of an egalitarian society and the elimination of existing inequalities, is organizing the “Women's Work Festival” for the third time this year.

Sertab Erener, the beloved artist, will meet with the Ankara people at the opening concert of the festival, which will start on June 28th. The closing of the festival, where about 600 women will present their hand-made products to the appreciation of the visitors, will be held by Kalben’s concert, who became one of the most popular names latterly.

Those who want to participate in the festival will be able use the shuttle vehicles of Çankaya Municipality, located in Çankaya Kolej Otopark (Parking Lot) free of charge.

Çankaya Municipality is organizing the “Women's Work Festival” for the third time this year. The festival, which aims to develop an egalitarian society, to eliminate existing inequalities, to make women's labor visible and to take its place in the market, will start on June 28th.

About 600 women who will be at the stands in Ahlatlıbel Atatürk Park, will present many products made by themselves from wooden items to bags, from felt to cactus; from jewelry to knitted dolls to the taste of those who come to the festival.

ALL INCOME WILL BE GIVEN TO WOMEN

Çankaya Municipality, which owns “Purple Flag” due to its services to ensure equal participation of women in social life and employment, will also ensure women's income from sales will remain entirely to them.

The festival, which will start with the setting up the stands on Friday, June 28th at 10.00, will continue with Ezgi Eyüboğlu concert to be held at 16.00. Sertab Erener, the beloved artist, will meet with the Ankara people at 20.00.

THE FESTIVAL CLOSES WITH KALBEN CONCERT

The day, which will start with festival activities on Saturday, June 29th at 12.00, will continue with Canan Anderson at 13.30, Istanbul Girls Orchestra at 16.30 and Serenad Bağcan at 20.00. On the last day of the festival, where the activities will start at 12.00 (Sunday, 30 June) will continue with İlknur Yakupoğlu at 13.30, Ankara Modern Orchestra at 16.30 and will end with Kalben concert at 20.00.

Shuttle service hours and routes

The dates and hours of the free shuttle vehicles that will take citizens who will participate in the festival from Çankaya Kolej Otopark and bring them to Ahlatlıbel Atatürk Park are as follows:
