ÇANKAYA MAYOR ALPER TAŞDELEN WELCOMED THE REPRESENTATIVES OF NGO’S IN HIS OFFICE

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen welcomed the representatives of non-governmental organizations in his office.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who welcomed the executives and members of Ankara Rumelililer Culture and Solidarity Association, Çorumlular Association, Ankara Çankirilılar Social and Cultural Aid Foundation, Children with Cerebral Palsy Association (SERCEV), Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects Chamber of Environmental Engineers (TMMOB), CHP Altındağ District Presidency, Confederation of Public Employees Trade Unions (KESK), Social Democrat Lawyers Association, conveyed his guests that they will enter the new term quickly with the projects worthy of Çankaya and Ankara. Mr. Taşdelen said that: “We worked together with our citizens and non-governmental organizations in the previous term, we have signed successful works with our understanding of transparent participatory municipalism. This term we will work even harder”.

NUMEROUS PROJECTS FOR ÇAYYOLU AND A LIBRARY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Mayor Taşdelen, who welcomed The Atatürkist (Kemalist) Thought Association Ümitköy-Çayyolu Branch Chair Leyla Alkıroğlu and her accompanying delegation, welcomed the demand of young people of increasin the spaces organized to study and to carry out activities together. Reminding that there will be numerous Çankaya Houses, Springhouses, marketplace and many parks to be realized in Çayyolu region, added his words that a cultural center and a library construction are also among their new projects.

ONE-WAY APPLICATION HAS TRANSFORMED THE DISTRICT INTO COLLAPSED AREA

Mayor Taşdelen, who welcomed the Esatlılar Association Chair Necati Ulukan, and the Kocatepe Meşrutiyetliler Association Chair Osman Demirci and the neighborhood residents in his office, listened to the problems of artisans and residents. Mr. Ulukan, who stated that especially the commercial and social life was affected negatively by the one-way application in Esat and the surrounding streets, asked Taşdelen to support re-issue of the issue. Mr. Taşdelen, who stated that the environment around Tunalı Hilmi and Esat Avenue could be rescued by new arrangements, said that they will convey this demand to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş. Mr. Taşdelen also conveyed the delegation that the demand for the restoration of the Fethiye Mosque in the district will be included in the work program.

CELEBRATION FROM THE JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION

Mayor Taşdelen welcomed the President of the Journalists Association Nazmi Bilgin and his accompanying board members in his office. In the visit where Journalists Association Deputy President Yusuf Kanlı, General Secretary Ümit Gurtuna, members of the Board of Directors Güray Soysal, Ali Simşek and Nursun Erel were also participated, Journalists Association Vice President Savaş Kıratlı wished success in the second term, defined Mr. Taşdelen as an old colleague and gave information about the work of the Community.

Stating that they will continue to work without slowing down in the production of service worthy of Çankaya, Mr. Taşdelen emphasized that he would be happy to participate in the activities within the scope of the Press House project of the Community.
