Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen welcomed the Ambassador Luis Alberto Amoros Nunez of Cuba in Ankara in his office.

Ambassador Luis Alberto Amoros Nunez of Cuba visited Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen. Ambassador Nunez, who stated that the sister city relations established by the municipalities have great importance in the development of international diplomatic, cultural and economic relations, thanked to Mr. Taşdelen for his support in the cultural field in the previous period and celebrated his re-election and wished him success.

Ambassador Nunez stated that, it is very important for them that and Çankaya and Playa, which is a big district municipality affiliated with Cuba’s capital Havana, are sister cities, and the friendship relations between the two municipalities are very important for them.

Stating that he was pleased with Ambassador Nunez's visit, Mr. Taşdelen stated that they want to diversify and develop the sister city relationship between Çankaya Municipality and Havana Playa Municipality even further, which was first started in the cultural field.
