METU Radio Group and METU Lodos Group students gave a plaque to Çankaya Municipality for their support in the “6th Media and Music Awards” ceremony.

The students of metu gave a meaningful plaque to Çankaya Municipality, which always takes their side and with its support to events that the students organize.

The 6th Media and Music Awards ceremony, organized by METU's two major student gruops, the Lodos Group and the Radio Group, was held at the Kemal Kurdaş Hall of the METU Congress Culture Center.

Çankaya Municipality was the main sponsorship of the event, organized in the framework of the concept created in order to raise awareness of Down Syndrome and to emphasize that everyone is different, special but equal.

While the winners received their awards which were given according to the results of the voting held with the participation of students, academicians and staff at METU between January 1 and 31, Çankaya Deputy Mayor Nafiz Kaya took the appriciation plaque on behalf of Çankaya Municipality.
