The products of those women that sold in the shopping centers and market places provided by Çankaya Municipality are now being prepared for the stands to be established before February 14th Valentine's Day.

Women staying in the Women's Shelter in Çankaya Municipality are working intensively in the workshop established for them. Women accompanied by their workshop chief Fadime Yıldırım, knitting ruins, jewelry making, stitches, says that it sounds like a therapy center for them. Women who state that they are very happy to sell their products, say that: ” It is very enjoyable that people like the hat we weave, the necklace we designed. The revenue generated from sales gives us both moral and economic support” . Sales will take place at the stands of the Çankaya Municipality between 9-15 February at Taurus Shopping Center.

DONATIONS TO THE DIRECTORATE OF WOMEN AND FAMILY SERVICES

For women and children, a shelter with a capacity of 40 people provides safe and secure accommodation. The school children, who are given psychological and legal support and who stay in a shelter that includes a kindergarten for pre-school children, are provided with education.
