THE NEW SERVICE BUILDING OF THE ÇANKAYA MUNICIPAL POLICE OPENED

Çankaya Municipality Police Department started to provide services in Çankaya Municipality Maltepe Campus with all units located in the main building. Çankaya Municipal Police's new center building was opened by Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen.

Çankaya Municipality, which offers many services from parks to art centers, from Çankaya Houses to swimming pools one after the other, realized a new opening for its municipal police. Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen opened the new building of Çankaya Municipality Directorate of Municipal Police, which will serve with all its units in the main service building located in Maltepe Campus in Ziya Gökalp Avenue. The opening of the new building was attended by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Head of Municipal Police Department, District Municipalities, Directors of Municipal Police Departments of other districts, and the representatives of the tradesmen chambers.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen who made a short speech at the opening and expressed his accomplishments in 4 and a half years, thanked all his colleagues. Çankaya Mayor Taşdelen who emphasized that the service is given to all people, said that “Municipalism is a team job. The most important factor in our success is that both we create a love bond within ourselves and integrate it with the people.”

Stating that Çankaya Municipality has an exemplary position, Mr. Taşdelen said that:”We became a consulted municipality not only with our projects and services, but also on how to implement a municipal or legislative act”. Mr. Taşdelen who emphasized that the reputation of Çankaya has exceeded the boundaries of Turkey and has been an example in the world, also stated that only Çankaya Municipality and Barcelona Municipality were invited to the conference, which was organized by the London School of Economics.

Alper Tasdelen, who indicated that the municipal police have a special place in terms of his determination, enthusiasm and discipline, and stated that the service quality of the municipal police will increase with the new building, said that: "I wish our new building would be beneficial to our municipality and the municipal police". After his speech, Mr. Taşdelen realized the opening of the new service building with the staff of the Directorate of Municipal Police.
