THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN FILM FESTIVAL STARTED

The "2nd International Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival", which is being organized by Latin American countries with the contribution of Çankaya Municipality, started at the Contemporary Arts Center.

The ”International Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival” which is being organized for the 2nd time this year, started with an opening ceremony held at the Contemporary Arts Center. The ambassadors of Latin American countries and many guests attended the opening ceremony hosted by Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen.

THANKS FROM LATIN AMERICA TO ÇANKAYA MUNICIPALITY

The opening speech was made by Brazilİan Ambassador to Ankara Eduardo Gradilone, who also coordinated this year's event. Mr. Gradilone, who stated that they are pleased to organize the second of the film festival this year and that they have the excitement of bringing together the valuable cinema works of different countries with Turkish audiences, thanked Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen for the support and cooperation.

Çankaya Mayor Alper Taşdelen, who stated that the reflection of Latin American culture on the big screen, which adds color to the universal values of art, is one of the cornerstones of Latin American cinema, said that: “While we are actualizing our studies with our claim to be the capital of culture and art, in the heart of Ankara, we are committed to increasing the number and quality of cultural events with the embassies in Ankara, with the representatives of friend and sister countries.”
