Çankaya Municipality kept the name of Fidel Castro, the leader of Cuba, living in its park which was opened on August 13, is his birthday. The name of the legendary revolutionary leader Castro who died in 2016 has been given to a public space in the world for the first time.

BUILT IN 10 THOUSAND 373 SQUARE METERS

The park which is located between 2806 and 2808 streets in Ahmet Taner Kışlalı neighborhood was built in an area of 10 thousand 373 square meters. The park which has 7 thousand 915 square meter of green space will serve as a living space for the people of the region with its urban furnishings, playgrounds and sports areas for children.
